To encourage family unity and participation, eligible scholarship recipients may now include all immediate family members on this
application. Each Applicant will receive a Membership Card. Applicants may Register for additional CAP Courses at $15 per Course
until July 25, 2011 to a maximum of Five (5) Courses per Applicant. Each Course may be attended only once.

Each Applicant will receive a CAP Card. It MUST BE ACTIVATED at a CAP Location on the day of your first lesson.

EACH APPLICANT MUST schedule their first CAP Course now, below. You will receive an Email confirming that
appointment time within 3-7 days, or you may call the Artist chosen to confirm or reschedule the time.

You will usually be mailed a CAP Membership Card(s) within one week. Your application information will be given to the Affiliates
serving your region. We will then send you an email Notice of Acceptance with a tentative appointment for your first lesson.

Dear Members,

-     TheCornerstone CAP/CEP Network is an educational nonprofit association with a
mission to promote physical fitness, mental awareness, and intellectual growth by
encouraging the public to participate in creative arts, sports, and institutional events. It is
supported by donations from the public, Members, and Affiliates, and receives no financial
support from the government. We need your support to bring these incredible scholarship
opportunities to all our children and their families.
-     In September 2009, I was quite excited to set an ambitious goal of delivering Notices of
Eligibility to 6,500 California residents each month, by September 2010. I am proud to
announce that our growth and support has been so extraordinary that this goal has been
exceeded by a factor of four. Between September 2010 and July 2011, theCornerstone will
directly notify over 300,000 California students and their families of their eligibility for
CAP/CEP Scholarships. We need your help to notify all students, as we lack the print, staff,
and mailing funds to do so.
-     CAP/CEP Scholarships enable and empower people of all ages to discover hidden
talents, enhance their quality of life, and remain physically and mentally fit. Additionally,
these scholarships afford parents the opportunity to introduce their children to a variety of
arts and sports in a financially stress-free manner. Thus, the real benefit of CAP/CEP
scholarships is that they help individuals discover how to best fulfill their existential needs.
-     Donations may be made anonymously, or by commercial sponsorship. In either case,
100% of all donations go to the distribution and processing of CAP Scholarships. Please
donate whatever amount you are able. Still, the most important donation is your continued
support by program referral, and through your patronage of the enormously gracious
Affiliate Artists and Institutions that have made these superb programs available to the
public, as a community service. We are truly thankful for donations of any amount
whatsoever and wish you well on your journey of personal growth and fulfillment! With the
